Armenian Charity Runners Team is a continuation of a charity run, which began in Armenia in 2014 with the RUN IN YEREVAN.
In the framework of this project, we create a global team of charity runners who want to run and help children. People from different countries can join our team and take part in marathon events anywhere in the world. We will support the participants with the necessary information, promotion, and will provide with special starter -packs.
Important remark: in order to become a member of our team is not necessary to be an Armenian. It is important just to want to be a part of the overall business and ideas. Team members can run individually or create a group of runners. Charity runners of different companies are also welcomed.
With the aim of providing more systematic support to people with disabilities and their parents the Armenian Charity Runners Team is launching the “Nimba” social project. It is going to be a garment manufacture which will be producing bed linen, sleepwear and home textiles. The manufacture will be recruiting parents/caregivers (mostly single mothers) of people with disabilities and people with disabilities themselves.

We run to get rid of negative mood, several kilos as well as to meet with other moms. And the most important reason is to participate at charity project - to raise money for renovation of the 1st rehab center for children with Cerebral Palsy (CP).
One year ago I understood that I would run till the end of my life, until I have strength to move. Especially, if looking at me people understand that with running we help to raise money for special children with disabilities.
"In Armenian there is a saying - Do an act of kindness and throw it into water! Personally I think, that every good action makes our world a little bit better. Especially, if it is something related to the kids and even more so if it is related to their education. To become a part of the project that will help more children to create, be involved in interesting projects, dive into fascinating world of books - is my goal as a charity runner. And more than that, I try not to miss any chance to contribute to the development of My Armenia".
Everything is very simple for me. If I love running and I can help to bring attention to social problems, why should I miss this chance?
I want to run with children whom we are helping today.
It is a good chance to tell my friends about the project of charity runners and to help to raise money for one of the best rehab centers!
It seems it'll be easier to send money for charity, but I'm sure my efforts somehow can be motivation for other person in his bigger survival struggle.
“Charity runner” concept seemed to be something strange for me a year ago. How it is possible that running can be helpful not only for the one who run but also for another people? Now i am also charity runner. I will run at YHM for helping kind people to renovate Rehab center for children with cerebral palcy
